ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – A police officer involved shooting is under investigation in St. Charles County. The officer is employed by the St. Charles County Police and was working on a covert operation with Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms agents.
It happened Monday evening at a home in the 1300 block of Ticonderoga Drive near St. Peters. Something went wrong, shots were fired. Neighbors report hearing two shots. No officers were injured. A suspect suffered a non-life threatening wound and was taken to the hospital.
The officer involved in the shooting is 38-years-old and a 14 year veteran of the force.
