NORTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – A St. Louis man accused of pointing a weapon at an officer is facing charges. Investigators say 23-year-old Nathaniel Anderson is charged with several counts including unlawful use of a weapon and felonious restraint.
Police say they pulled over two men in a pick-up Thursday for driving erratically.
Officers say Anderson held the driver at gunpoint, and ordered him to drive to a Circle K on Bellefontaine Road while being pursued by police.
Investigators say when an officer approached the vehicle; Anderson pointed a weapon at him.
The driver says he and Anderson were in the midst of a drug deal, when the officer spotted them.
